Townsend Posts Unofficial Results for State Primary
TOWNSEND — Unofficial results for Tuesday's State Primary Election are now posted on the town's website, the first of three fall votes for Townsend residents this year, according to the town's News Flash. Separately, the town flagged a statewide health advisory this week over additional human cases of West Nile virus in Massachusetts.

The town's News Flash confirmed Tuesday that unofficial results from the Sept. 1 State Primary are available online. It is the first of three fall elections set for Townsend, with a special town election following Oct. 6 and a third vote scheduled Nov. 3.
The town also posted a health advisory noting additional human cases of West Nile virus have been identified in Massachusetts, a seasonal reminder for residents as summer winds down.
