NMRHS inducts students into three honor societies

North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend announced the recent induction of new members into three honor societies: the Tri-M Music Honor Society, the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society and the National Honor Society.

The Tri-M Music Honor Society, which has over 84,000 members annually, welcomed its new North Middlesex members during a ceremony on Oct. 7. The society recognizes students for musical achievement, academic success and contributions to their school's music community. The 2026 inductees are Luke B., Sophia B., Connor B., Esme C., Leonora G., Abigail G., Logan J., Phoenix M., Keira M., Vivien P., Reese S., Oliver S., Sassicaia W. and Eliza W.

The Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society held its induction ceremony on Oct. 8. The society recognizes high school juniors and seniors for achievement in social studies and interest in history, government and civic engagement. The 2026 inductees are Mirola A., Madison A., Alexis A., Alexis C., Lila L., Taylor M., Jakob M., Grace R., Finn S., Oliver S., Alina T. and Kaely T.

The National Honor Society induction took place Oct. 13, celebrating students who exemplify the organization's pillars of scholarship, service, leadership and character. The 2026 inductees are Mirola A., Nathan A., Akshara A., Zoey B., Layla C., Caitlin C., Brooklyn E., Amelia H., Michael H., Elise K., Lila L., Eve L., Jakob M., Madison M., Sophia N. and Finn S.

Principal Laurie Smith said in the release, "We are incredibly proud of the students being recognized through these three honor societies. Their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, service and personal growth reflects the strength of the North Middlesex community."
